Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) struggled to justify her defense against former President Joe Biden’s mental vision when he grilled in a recent podcast interview.
“Do you regret President Biden telling him he has mental vision, did he have sharpness?” Sam Fragoso, host of “Talk Easy,” asked a Massachusetts Democrat. Interview Posted on Sunday.
“I said that until last July,” Fragoso added, saying Warren supported Biden from the 2024 presidential election until he resigned.
“I said something I think is true,” Warren replied.
As Fragoso pushed her against her, Warren seemed to stop and hold back her laugh when she asked the senator if she believed Biden was “as sharp as you.”
“I said I hadn’t seen decline…and I wasn’t at that point,” the senator argued.
Warren claimed that she had insisted her. I defended Biden has not seen any discernible differences in his mental fitness from Biden, whom he knew in 2021, including shortly after his shocking debate performance against President Trump.
“You know – the problem is, he’s sharp, he’s sharp. He was on his feet. I saw him at a live event. I’d seen him a few times…
“‘His feet’ is not a praise,” the stunned podcast host told Warren. “‘He can speak in writing’ is not a praise. ”
Again, Warren seemed to be struggling to contain the laughter.
“It’s fine. It’s fair enough. It’s fair enough,” she replied, retreating from the former president’s defense and then changed the subject.
Biden administration officials and Democrats are facing criticism that allegedly cover up the former president’s mental and physical decline in the gradual steps towards the 2024 presidential election.
For example, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif), who publicly disparaged Biden’s dismal June 27 debate, while expressing her concerns personally, publicly disparaged reports leading up to the dire June 27 debate, according to a new book by author Chris Whipple.
“He wasn’t the same as Joe Biden,” Pelosi reportedly told friends about the president’s status at the time after receiving the Presidential Order Award at a White House ceremony in May 2024.
The White House event took place a month before Biden’s dramatic decline was detailed in the Wall Street Journal Report. There, more than 45 Republicans and Democrats and staff described the president who spoke so softly during a meeting where he struggled to understand him. They didn’t seem to know which policies were in place. And we relied on our staff to answer our direct questions.
However, Pelosi denounced the report as a “hit piece.”
