“In the grand scheme of things… if the pre-trial complaint was like the Corleone brothers, I think the move to whim is probably Fred,” Brian Wies, legal analyst, criminal appellant and post-conviction counsel, told Fox News Digital.
“I’m not very sure what Brad Simpson’s lawyers are interested in. …I think there’s a question of the attitude and means of death,” Wies said. “But… even if you succeed, you’re just asking the nation to draft sufficient accusations.”

“Suzanne could have been whose wife, whose sister, whose mother, whose BFF.”
“These people, unlike many victims of violent crimes, came from a seemingly wealthy background, so looking through that lens means you can see why it became a national story,” Wies explained.
Joey Contreras of PLLC’s Ramos Del Cueto said similarly that prosecutors either “inappropriately prosecuted a violation” or that they would not give defendants “sufficient time to build up defense.”

“Ideally, I think the practical issue is to buy what this does. [Brad Simpson] Many times, and time, always work in your defense. Because let’s say he got his relief and it was cancelled.
“We’re at a disadvantage because we don’t know where the state is. [Suzanne’s] The body, and how she was killed. ”
“It’s very atypical for murder,” Contreras said. “Usually, if you have a body with three bullet holes, it’s very easy to charge it very specifically. In this case, the state doesn’t have that. So you’ll have a bit of a dominance in defense. … They’re forcing the hand of the state.”
But if the state accepts a motion to destroy it, Brad Simpson could be rebooted, said Ronald Ramos of Ramos del Quet.
