GOP targets 25 ‘vulnerable’ Dems in new ad blitz offering plane tix to El Salvador

First on FOX: The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is targeting a list of 25 “vulnerable” Democrats in the House of Representatives, with digital advertising blitz offering to buy them tickets for the plane.

The advertising campaign follows a press release Monday at the NRCC’s offer to draft a bill for future trips to El Salvador by Democrats after several progressive lawmakers travelled to South American countries in protest of the Trump administration’s deportation policy.

“We pay for plane tickets. They can’t forget to smile for the camera while they sell out their members,” NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella said Tuesday. “If Democrats in a shortage are so desperate that they can be comfortable with members of violent gangs, all they can do is have Americans watch the show.”

Rep Maxwell Frost explains why he and other Democrats are in El Salvador

D-Md. Senator Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador last week on a very public trip.

Van Hollen’s visit was followed by another visit to El Salvador by four far-left Democrats on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Republicans were keen to link Democrats to criminals suspected of being deported to El Salvador. The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC), the NRCC’s US Senate counterpart, released a new digital ad this week that said he had chuckled at Van Hollen’s recent MS-13 gang member Abrego Garcia.

“¡Senator Bienvenidos A el Salvador! Democrats need to travel freely to hang out one way with the MS-13 Gangbangers.”

“Welcome to El Salvador. Home to breathtaking sunsets, world-class surf breaks, and gang bangger Kilmer Abrego Garcia,” the video’s narrator can also hear. “El Salvador is the thrill-seeking Democrats’ destination to bring violent, criminal and illegal aliens back to America,” the ad continues.
