Abdul Carter drops huge Giants hint day before 2025 NFL Draft

Throw away that Eagles gear.

Pennsylvania Starpass Rusher and Eagles fan Abdul Carter said he has the best sense of the giants entering Thursday’s 2025 NFL Draft.

The Giants are widely projected as they chose Carter as third overall, including the post of Steve Selby’s final mock draft.

“We’re definitely in New York right now, but we’ll see what happens (Thursday),” Carter said on Wednesday that the team he has the best feeling. “I think (the meeting) worked. I definitely got a good feeling with them. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.”

The top three picks focus on drafts just 24 hours.

Comeward is planning to go to Titan on his first pick. The two-way Phenom Travis Hunter appears to be heading for the Browns second, with the Giants projected on many, abandoning the need for a prominent long-term quarterback and drafting Carter to add to the stout pass rush.

There is always a chance that the Giants can draft Chedure Sanders, but the latest rumours and betting odds make them more likely to fall for the Steelers in the pick No. 21 or the second round.

Carter offers the Giants a potentially horrifying pass rush to add to Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence and Cavon Thibodeau.

Ironically, the Philadelphia native is tasked with helping the giants try to ultimately change the tide against their rival Eagles.

Carter played at LaSalle College High School in Philadelphia before appearing in the Nittany Lions.

He revealed whether it was a rumor about the Giants that his hometown means “everything” to him.

“It means a lot because where I take shape, where my roots and where my family came from,” Carter said.

Giants fans don’t care where Carter grew up if he performs for them, but he has offered encouraging words to those interested in his loyalty.

Carter tallied 23 bags over three seasons, including this past season, while leading Pennsylvania to the College Football Playoffs semi-finals.

“It’s going to be dope,” he said of performing in New York. “But obviously when I go to New York, I’m all New York. I have to leave Philadelphia behind.”
