Richard Branson calls Trump's trade policies 'erratic' and 'unpredictable'

Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Atlantic, called President Trump’s trade policies “unstable,” “unpredictable,” and harmful to people all over the world.

A statement to British news reporters has been widely accepted. It has been reported in Many International Outletthe billionaire businessman issued a powerful responsibilities, particularly in his economic and foreign policy, about how the US president approached his second term.

“Unpredictability is terrible for anyone in the world,” Branson said. “It’s unstable and unpredictable and it’s extremely difficult for businesses to deal with.”

“A volatile world is not good for everyone. People delay decisions about investment and spending,” he continued.

“If he continues, he will be at risk of causing so much damage in the world,” he added.

The comment is because Trump dramatically changed the US approach to US foreign policy and global partnerships in a few months. He announced various waves of cleaning fees before announcing a 90-day suspension on some higher tariffs to allow the country time to try to do business with the US.

Branson criticized the approach, saying it could predict the situation in which the US would be excluded from trade transactions.

“We can see a world where Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and China all trade together and build great powers in the coming years,” he said. “There’s a big market there, but you can see that America is being excluded from a lot of imports and exports.”

Branson said he doesn’t think the majority of Americans support what Trump is doing.

“To be honest, I think this is a pretty small elite. [group] Of the people around Trump, he said.

“Most Americans are decent individuals,” Branson said. “I’m just sad, incredibly sad, and so sad, and so many of the Americans I know are so sad.”
