A new illegal alien sob story has emerged that could encourage liberals to pivot from the failed “Maryland Man” story about MS-13’s Associate Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
Around 9am Tuesday, federal agents arrested Martin Mazin outside his barber shop in Pomona, California, halfway between San Bernardino and Los Angeles. Mazin’s son, Miguel Mazin, shared a video of concern Instagrampleads for “help.”
Miguel also admitted to KABC in 1987 that his father had illegally come to the United States.
This video shows two federal vehicles boxing Martin shortly after he arrives at business. Several agents then exit the vehicle and appear to be carrying most of the weapons. Martin raises his hand as at least one agent is temporarily pointing at his weapon in Martin’s direction, but the rest appears to have the firearm diagonally on the ground.
Kalos Newsthe outlet dedicated to the “Latino/A/X community” reported “All ‘agent’ points.”[ed] “Martin. The outlet included screenshots of surveillance footage, even if the seven agents pointing guns in the caption “Martin Majin Leon,” were not pointing guns at the screenshot.
Nevertheless, Miguel Mazin repeatedly claimed that his father was taken away by the border patrol at the “muscle,” characterising the agent’s actions as “excessive force.” Customs and Border Security in 2024 policy The use of force means that carrying a firearm is the standard protocol for agents.
Miguel also repeatedly claimed in an Instagram video that his father has not broken the law. “You know my father is not a criminal,” he said.
“My father is not a criminal,” he said again a minute later. “He has a family business. He puts taxes and pays taxes. That’s how he handles him.”
“We knew this would happen to criminals, rapists, people who have really bad records. Donald Trump wants to deport those people,” he said. KABC. “But why am I my father? He’s a working man.”
However, Miguel also admitted to KABC that his father had come to the United States illegally in 1987. Martin and his wife then opened a barber shop and raised seven children in the United States, and it is unclear whether Martin’s wife and their children are American citizens.
Martin Mazin must have applied for his green card in the end. This is because his application was denied and deported from the state in 2009. If KABC learned the reason for denial of Martin’s green card application, the outlet did not report it.
However, the outlet echoed that three years after his deportation, Martin Mazin “returned” to the United States and “he has lived a quiet life ever since.” Martin was a former exile whose green card application was denied, so when he “returned” in 2012 he almost certainly crossed the border illegally.
The Mexican Consulate called the Mazin family to inform them that Martin had been taken to a holding facility in Calexico.
Miguel suspects that the DMV may have overturned federal agents about his father’s illegal status after Martin visited the agency earlier this month to renew his driver’s license.
“I don’t know if they’re them or not. [gave] According to Kalos News, Miguel barely got his updated license, not a week ago, for information on patrols and other things,” Miguel said.
“I’m sure DMV is working with Border Patrol,” Miguel added to KABC.
California DMV has not responded to requests for comment from KaroNews and told KABC it is preparing a statement.
Miguel also pointed his finger at Pomona police, who denied involvement in the immigration-related attack at Home Depot in Pomona on Tuesday morning. CBP allegedly arrested several illegal aliens in the attack.
“The agent performed surgery in Pomona, targeting illegal aliens with aggressive arrest warrants. During the operation, nine additional illegal aliens were encountered and detained.
Individual It is reportedly During that raid, we were able to avoid the capture. After that, I sip on the news about his experience. “I arrived here and when I started watching the scene, I started crying. Tears began to go away,” the man said in a language other than English. “We’re here. We’re humans. We’re here just to support ourselves and maintain our family.”
Border Emperor Tom Homan warned in January that illegal immigrants cannot view themselves as safe, despite the Trump administration targeting violent criminals to deport them. The administration has since encouraged illegal immigrants to self-declare and has promised that self-swaggers may have an opportunity to return legally.
