This time Leflop gets caught up in a redhead.
Lakers star LeBron James smacked Timberwolves’ Julius Randle in the face in Game 2 of the Playoff Series on Tuesday night.
Randle saw James’ face along the way as Minnesota chased Minnesota 88-77 in the fourth quarter.
While in the hardwood in the pain of apparent pain, the angle of the second camera shows James peering in to see if someone is watching the moment in question.
Randle’s foul was to have been reviewed by officials for a prominent foul, but it soon decided that the Timberwolves were a common offensive foul ahead.
Perhaps it was just a nasty moment, or James was just looking for a break during a high-intensity must-see game in Los Angeles.
If the foul had not been called, Randle’s layup would have been counted and the Lakers’ lead would have been reduced to single digits.
James finished the game – a 94-85 victory – led a strong defensive performance after being stolen 117 points in a series open loss with 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.
The series between the two title candidates has responded to billing, and Game 2 victory included LA coach JJ Redick’s explosion with his team in the third quarter.
“Jesus F. Christ. What are you guys doing? Are you coming?” Reddick said as he called the timeout in the 62-51 game.
The series heads to Minnesota for Game 3 on Friday night.
