NYC Protesters Swarm Mayoral Candidate Andrew Cuomo

Protesters stormed the scene with former government government Andrew Cuomo (D-NY), running for mayor of New York City, at an event in Brooklyn on Wednesday evening.

Video footage shows several people in the crowd ascended the stage at Medgar Evers College at the Democratic Mayoral Forum on the Black Agenda. New York Post It has been reported Thursday.

Cuomo, who resigned from his position as governor in 2021 after several scandals, was talking about public safety when he decided it was time for demonstrators to be confused. New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers moved protesters outside, but not before the voices were heard.

The protesters try to keep the sign as many people in the audience are standing up. However, Cuomo sits in his seat and remains holding his microphone as the scenes around him become tense.

Cuomo announced in early March that he will run for mayor of New York City. According to the Associated Press (AP), his announcement came after numerous sexual harassment accusations.

In the 17-minute video, Cuomo pitches himself as a skilled moderate who can save a city he described as threatening and “out of control,” allowing him to navigate the delicate balance between working with Republican President Donald Trump and fighting him when necessary.

“I’m not saying this will be easier, it’s not easy, but I know it can turn the city around.

HBO comedian and television host Bill Maher recently shared his thoughts on Cuomo, saying, “I don’t think he’ll get over the nursing home. Politics is a high-wire act. One sleazy decision can drive people away. Or they don’t know what’s going to happen.”
