The Red woman posted a meme showing her partner as a lazy pothead.
Jennifer Rajkumar, a public advocate who struggled with the poll, posted a meme on Wednesday. She presented her as a high-energy politician with high heels, along with dozing-out incumbent Jumane Williams, who died in bed.
“Maaaaan, Last Batch Edibles took me somewhere else,” reads a social media quote from Williams above Williams’ comics. Near him is a schedule that simply lists naps on his daily agenda.
State Assembly member Rajkumar will be displayed throughout town, starting at 7am and ending late at night by train.
“This feels hopeless and racist,” one DEM political consultant Raleens. “Why is a black man just a pothead? Instead, the New Yorker wants to hear more about her record outside of press conferences and media events with the mayor.”
Another operative was speechless.
“I don’t know what to say about village idiots who say meaningless or racist things,” they said. “People and her colleagues will continue to do the same thing as us. Please ignore her.”
Arvind Sooknanan, a spokesman for Rajkumar’s campaign, said that a critic who called it a racist said he was just using the PA language against him.
“The image uses Jumaane’s own tweet and reflects what New Yorkers already know. His office has no major achievements in six years, remote, unresponsive, no running behavior.”
The tweet is authentic but was pulled from a From 2021, he had a cheeky exchange with then-Leader of the Minority Council, Joe Borelli. (R-Staten Island) is joking about aliens and time travel.
Rajkumar earned her nickname for her appearance with Mayor Eric Adams at a public event decorated in red. Her post comes after Adams skewed Williams likewise on Tuesday.
“Think about this for a moment. Public advocates wake up at midday,” Adams reached out to off topic each week. “He will take a nap until 2. He looks around the fort to make sure the guards are awake, and he will go back and take another nap.
“Then he looks at the press and says, ‘My job for over $200,000 is to find a way to criticize Eric or something.” ”
However, the mayor did not appreciate Williams’ no-show record.
The campaign has doubled, I’ll post a meme again on Thursday afternoonreply to one of Williams’ social posts.
“It was a flaw,” said one urban politician.
A Honan Strategy Group poll found this week that Rajkumar voted for 6% of Dem voters, but Williams, who barely campaigned, is comfortable at 51%. According to polls, about a third of voters are still holding onto it.
