Trump Casts Doubt on Prospect of Ukraine Controlling Crimea

President Donald Trump has denounced former President Barack Obama for allowing Russia to invade Crimea and raise doubts about the outlook that Ukraine would reclaim Crimea through a peace deal.

Trump’s comments came at a joint press conference at the Oval Office, along with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stole.

“Do you still agree that Ukraine must hand over territory to win peace?” a reporter asked Trump.

“Well, it depends on which territory… They lost a lot of territory, and we will work with Ukraine to do our best we can,” he replied.

Trump then blew Obama to Crimea, showing that it is unrealistic to think that Ukraine would reclaim Crimea with a peace deal.

When I say Crimea, handed over to a president named Barack Hussein Obama, it had nothing to do with me with Obama 11 years ago, and they made a decision. There were no bullets fired, no fights, nothing. They handed it over. Now they say, “Well, can you get it back?” I think that will be very difficult. It was given by Barack Obama when he was president, not by Donald Trump.

Trump also told a news conference that he was unhappy with Russia about the strike in Kiev early Thursday morning. I was killed At least 12 people were injured, and more than 90 more people were injured.

“I didn’t like it last night. I wasn’t happy with it. We were fired the missile while we were talking about peace and I wasn’t happy with it,” Trump said.

When asked whether they would consider additional sanctions against Russia if the attacks continued, Trump replied, “I want to answer that question in a week.”

“I want to see if we can make a deal. I have no reason to answer that now, but I’m not happy. And then things will happen,” he added.

Trump also said his administration is “putting a lot of pressure on Russia.” A reporter suggested that he was not in her question.

“You don’t know what pressure I’m putting on Russia… We put a lot of pressure on Russia,” he said.

Støre praised Trump’s promotion of peace during an oval office meeting.

“The US involvement is important to move towards the end of this war. President Trump made it possible. It’s clear. It’s clear. It’s really happening,” he said.

“The important thing now is that both parties have to know that they have to deliver and they have to feel the pressure to deliver,” he added.
