Valerie, a miniature dachshund who went missing on Kangaroo Island road in 2023, was rescued by conservationists.
“Kangala Wildlife Rescue is delighted to announce the success of Valerie’s rescue,” the group told Tiktok on Friday night.
“After weeks of tireless efforts… Valerie, by volunteers and partner organizations, is safely rescued, appropriate and well-behaved.
“We are absolutely thrilled and deeply relieved that Valerie is finally safe and can begin her transition to her beloved parents.”
