Ark Invest from renowned technology investor Kathy Wood has released its latest Bitcoin price target and outlined the top cryptocurrency path to reach a price of up to $2.4 million per coin by 2030.
Released on Thursday, Latest Reports ARK’s previous price forecasts have increased levels from the annual Big Ideas report. This determined the Bitcoin price forecast using the assumptions of gross addressable markets (TAM) and penetration rates.
Now, the company has combined its previous forecasts with experimental modeling that takes into account the “active” supply of Bitcoin.
“The vibrancy of Bitcoin’s network has remained at nearly 60% since early 2018. In our view, its vibrancy suggests that around 40% of the supply is “arched,” the report reads. “Based on that, we will reach our next price target, which is about 40% higher than the base model and does not take into account the active supply of Bitcoin and the vibrancy of the network.”
When considering active supply, Ark Invest predicts bear cases (or the most negative view) of around $500,000 per BTC. Bull case? Bitcoin price of $2.4 million per coin.
Contributing to potential growth, the report highlights key inputs in TAM and penetration data, including its status as a “digital gold,” institutional investment in spot ETFs, emerging market investors seeking safe shelter assets, and corporate foundations that continue to diversify with Bitcoin.
Ark is not the only Bitcoin supporter to propose a price increase of more than $1 million per coin. In September, Strategy Chairman and Co-Founder Michael Saylor predicted major crypto assets It’ll reach $13 million per coin The next 21 years. In January, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said: “Millions of price range” Same thing.
Bitcoin first surged over $95,000 two months before Friday, but continues to fall from its peak price of nearly $109,000 in January.
