Despite progress in consultations and President Donald Trump saying there is hope for a deal, Ukrainian President Voldimi Zelensky has revealed that he has rejected President Donald Trump’s proposal to recognize Russia’s Crimea occupation as a price of peace, saying that the Ukrainian constitution demands less than an absolute victory.
President Donald Trump said this week. Interview and Time Magazine One of the ultimate outcomes of the war is that “Crimea will remain in Russia”, and then the deal ended as Ukraine and Russia must first meet in person in negotiations to “finish it.”
However, the recent rhetoric from Kiev is not free about President Trump’s proposal. The American blueprint for Ukraine’s peace was placed in front of combatants this week and was quickly rejected by Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelensky as politically impossible.
The US “provided that vision,” Zelensky said Ukraine had refluxed in return before leaving South Africa. These included further requests to major forces in the West West as Ukraine has been seeking permanently for months.
It also raised the ultimate interrogation for Ukraine’s ultimate peace: security guarantees in the case of future Russian attacks.
“This document is on Trump’s desk,” and “We are waiting for a response,” Zelensky said, “We are looking for security guarantors, strong players among those who have power.
“People who are not afraid of Russia and are influenced by Russia. Certainly economic, certainly historical. Of course, the United States is in Europe so Europe is supposed to be there.”
The US basted the prospect of establishing a nuclear trigger in Ukraine, but perhaps the bigger stumbling block to achieve a viable peace deal is President Zelensky’s claim that he does nothing in conflict with the letters of the Ukrainian constitution.
This is Zelensky’s unquestionable duty to sworn as president, but given the Constitution states that the borders of the country are “individual and inviolable,” this essentially pushes through every yard of the United Nations’ recognized territorial liberation territory, in search of the greatest total victory. Three years of brutal battles and hundreds of thousands of lives have yet to achieve this goal.
President Zelensky said of this position that he would only accept the complete defeat of Russian invasion.
He said Friday: “Our position remains the same. Only the Ukrainians have the right to decide on territory that is Ukrainian. The Ukrainian Constitution states that all territories that are temporarily occupied are temporarily occupied.
“They all belong to Ukraine, and to the people of Ukraine. Ukraine does not legally recognize temporary occupied territory. I think this is an absolute fair position. It is legal not only from the perspective of the Ukrainian constitution but also from the perspective of international law.”
Of course, if the Ukrainian government really wants peace, the constitution could be amended. But until that time comes, we can find many more constitutionalist obstructions, such as changes to the documents that need to be ratified by referendums, and elections under wartime conditions and martial law are not possible.

…Can they get it back? They had Russians. They had submarines for many years, long before the period we were talking about. People speak Russian mainly in Crimea… Crimea stays in Russia. And Zelensky understands that, and everyone understands it has been with them for a long time. I was with them long before Trump came. Again, this is Obama’s war.
Other public opinion has stated: “Well, it depends on which territory… we will work with Ukraine and do our best we can… But they have lost a lot of territory.
This prompted many responses, given that many European states, at least in public, are seeking all strategic outcomes as well. Meanwhile, President Trump is pushing him aside on both sides for the lives of thousands of people, as he pushes him in a hurry to peace.
The US president has discovered Russia for finding excuses not to come to the negotiation table as he continues to take on a massive strike against Ukraine.
One of the steps on the US-designed road to peace is for Ukraine to sign up for President Trump’s mineral trade. This is a device that helps American taxpayers recover significant costs as they take on the defense of Ukraine. President Trump expressed his anger on Friday. The deal had not yet been ratified by Kyiv.
As reported, he wrote as he crossed the Atlantic to attend the funeral of the Pope in Rome:
