Former government Rod Blagojevich (D-IL) has embraced the idea of running for the Illinois Senate seat as a Maga Republican. Saturday Breitbart NewsWhen asked, “I’ll never say it.”
Blagojevich spoke about historic midterm elections (what he predicts is bad for a historically bad Democrat” when he asked if he was considering a political comeback considering past scandals while serving as Illinois’ Democratic governor from 2003 to 2009. President Donald Trump forgives him.
“Is that what you think: Running as a Republican, America’s first Republican Magazine, for the US Senate in Illinois? Boyle asked.
“You know, never say it,” replied Blagojevich. “That’s pretty much, right? I know I’ll leave prison in eight years and go back to Washington and become a US Senator.”
“I want to tell your listeners, I didn’t break the law or take a penny across the line,” he continued. “When people asked me, ‘What’s my biggest achievement as governor?’ I thought it was providing affordable health care to all children in Illinois. ”
Blagojevich also promoted the provision of free public transport to seniors and disabled people as another important achievement during his term.
“But now, I think my biggest achievement was to stand up against a prosecutor who committed weapons that criminalized something legal. Obama started. You’ve been to the White House for eight years, and I’ve been to prison for eight years.
“If you were in an influential place where you could play a role in trying to return government, you would not only return to people, but in fact end this horrifying trend of weaponizing courts for politics and politicizing politics. “I want to do that role.”
“Are I going to run for the United States Senate now? You know, I have to tell you, Matt, that’s crazy,” admitted the former governor.
“She is [Blagojevich’s wife] Matt, if I did something like that, I made it clear that I had to do it with my second wife. So, in order for me to actually decide to do something along those lines, I need to win my first primary – and that’s right in my bedroom. And I have to convince my wife Patty that she should go with something like that,” he said.

“But I don’t think the winning strategy and victory formula for a state like Illinois, whether I do something along those lines or there are others, is not traditional politics,” continued Blagoevich. “It’s not a traditional Democrat, a crazy crazy socialist Democrat, or a traditional Corporate Country Club Republican.”
“It’s a populist, common sense candidate you know, and shares the same values of many of the great American movements again,” he added.
“So, whether I’m doing such crazy things, Matt, Matt, I have to say, I’ve come a long way. And one day I was in a place there. Blagojevich was added. “Only in America.”
