The masked bandit who stole homeland security has been arrested for an expensive Gucci bag containing $3,000 in cash and other personal belongings, sources told the Post on Saturday.

The suspect was destroyed by DC Metro Police and the Secret Service, sources said.

The suspect’s identity was not immediately available, but he is one of the two involved and is believed to be part of the East Coast robber crew. One of the suspected PERPs is an immigrant.

Perp is expected to appear in court early next week, sources said. The hunt continues for the second suspect.

A bag, available for $4,400 per label website, was on the ground at the former South Dakota governor’s table where it was filmed, according to a complaint filed with local police.

The high-end wallet also included a Louis Vuitton Clemence wallet inside. It’s on sale for $600according to the report.

Security footage filmed a white man with an N95 surgical mask, dark pants, a “fur-type” collar and a ball cap, lifted up a DHS Honcho bag before heading out the restaurant about a mile from the White House.

Sources who described the video said the suspect grabbed a gnome bag, covered it with a jacket, and glanced around the restaurant before ramming around the restaurant.

“In fact, it was a bit shocking because I was sitting by my feet. I actually felt my wallet. He got caught in his leg and took it a few steps away and dropped his coat.”

“My grandson thought he was kicking me with his foot, but it was done very professionally,” she added on the “Vince” podcast.

“This tells us that this always happens to people, and that they live in a community where this is dangerous and that it reminds us why I’m here.”

The Secret Service provides security to secretaries, as is the case for the president and other high-ranking officials. It was unclear whether details were inside the restaurant at the time of the robbery.

Noem said it was unclear whether he was targeted based on his role as the boss of DHS and that he had postponed the burglar’s motives to investigators.

It is unknown which law enforcement agencies arrested the suspect.

DHS did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the post.
