Wisconsin dentist Akintunde Bowden shot dead by neighbor Keionna McGowan over loud music dispute

The controversy over loud music ended with the murder of a famous Wisconsin dentist inside his apartment building.

Kewonna McGowan sobed in court Thursday when she was accused of shelling her neighbor, Dr. Akintunde Bowden, after being told she asked to refuse her music on April 19th. WISN 12.

According to criminal charges reviewed by Wisn 12, the 27-year-old was inside an apartment north of Milwaukee when he heard him slap at her front door.

McGowan told police that 41-year-old Borden was active and believes he is “intoxicated.”

She is said to have agreed to open the door and lower the volume of the music, but these guarantees reportedly did not rule out the situation.

McGowan claimed she closed the door, but Borden kicked it.

She grabbed the gun, reopened the door and reportedly fired at him as he tried to kick again, Wyson 12 reported.

McGowan reportedly screams outside the building at her Park Plaza Court Apartment.

Authorities found Boden lying in McGowan’s doorway and declared he had died on the scene.

The dentist died of one gunshot wound to his lower abdomen, according to a reported autopsy report by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office.

McGowan was charged with two reckless murders on Thursday using a dangerous weapon.

McGowan’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 5th, according to court records.

“Dr. Borden’s contribution to the health and well-being of patients and communities has been greatly affected,” Milwaukee Health Services said in a statement. His leadership, compassion and vibrant personality will remain in our hearts forever. ”

Boden’s brothers, Adenizi and Ogbona (both dentists), claimed he “love his patients” and provided dental services to people who could not afford them for over a decade.

“He always reached out for people who didn’t have that much or that didn’t have what we thought was a fair opportunity,” Ogbonna said. He told CBS 58.

“You know, I didn’t think the last time I saw my brother was the last time I saw my brother,” Adeniji added.
