The Knicks scored a 3-1 series lead over the Pistons in Sunday afternoon Game 4 victory, 94-93:
Jalen Brunson, a
That wasn’t a problem except missed a potential dagger late from the inbound – you couldn’t ask the captain to do more with his 32 points, 11 assist gems. He overcame non-stop physical defensive pressures and injuries in the third quarter, and again tied him to the Cape in the fourth quarter.
Karl Anthony Towns, a
I thought he was struggling for most of the evening and seemed annoyed by the loose whis of the officials. However, he went through with the clutch for two biggest buckets as a member of the Knicks, a fadeaway at the baseline, and a stepback 3-pointer that eventually filled the pistons.
Josh Hart, A+
Your trademark heart game. He was everywhere. He grabbed 10 rebounds. He gave out five assists. He collected four steels, including a huge strip for the final minute. Hart also dropped three of his five three-point attempts. His best performance in this series.
