Singapore:
The two Indian citizens were allegedly charged in Singapore’s district court by robbing the woman’s hands and feet in a hotel room.
Arokkiyasami Daison, 22, and Rajendran Mayilarasan, 28, were each handed over on robbery charges and ordered to be remanded in the Central Police Department.
The two men were in the room at Amrise Hotel Kitchener in Jalan Besar before 7pm on April 26, when the 38-year-old woman allegedly tied the hands and legs, The Strait Times reported.
They are also accused of slap her in the face before making her passport, bank card and items containing 2,000 SGD in cash.
Police said in a previous statement that officers were warned of the lawsuit around 9pm on April 26th.
With the help of police cameras and CCTV footage, officers of the Central Police Department were able to establish the male identity within four hours of the report being made and arrested the pair.
A police spokesman said all of the woman’s belongings had been recovered.
To injure and commit robbers, criminals are imprisoned for five to 20 years and can receive at least 12 wands.
