One Dead, Others Injured in Florida ‘Mass Casualty’ Hit-and-Run Ferry Crash

One was dead, and the others escaped from the scene after being injured on Sunday after plunging into a ferry at Memorial Causeway Bridge, Florida.

The Clearwater Police Department, posted to multiple injured X, has been treated. The crash was declared a “major casualty incident” by the Clearwater Fire and Rescue Bureau due to the number of injuries, but was later estimated to be six people who needed first aid attention.

The two more seriously injured were taken to hospital by helicopter, the city of Clearwater said in a post on X.
