Whitlock: Shedeur Sanders has daddy issues

The conversation about whether Chedur Sanders is being helped or blocked by his legendary father, Dion Sanders, is circulating throughout the world of sports.

Jason Whitlock argues that Dion is a disability for his son. The main reason for this is that Chedur “was not pushed out of the coco” and perhaps never will.

“There’s a process of maturity. There’s a process of development where a boy becomes a man and then pushes out of the coco,” says Jason.

For most boys, they are pushed out of coco after graduating from high school. They went out to college and the military, and in a few years they would “return as men.” But that wasn’t the case with Chedur.

“Of his own desires, he never lets his son out of coco. He actually uses his son to get a job at Jackson State University, and with his son and Travis Hunter to get a job in Colorado,” Jason says.

Now that he’s headed for the NFL, people are asking, “How is he going to deal with his father?”

Given that Chedur has “never been coached by anyone other than his father,” it appears to be brewing trouble, considering that he is already “worth millions of dollars.”

“His father’s personality is his defensive back and wide receiver personality, not his quarterback personality, his father is one of the best players and is now a somewhat successful college coach, so he has really strong opinions, reliable opinions on developing and using his son,” Jason says.

He knows that Dion “do doesn’t hesitate to inject it.” [himself]”On the issue that Chedur is involved. This creates a “nightmare scenario” as he is “one of the 10 best football players of all time” and “someone who has access to the platform to go to you or expose you.”

The teams Shedeur plays are exposed to Deion’s opinions and power.

If that’s not enough headaches, the team that Chedur plays must fight against the lack of humility and the deep, deep-rooted anxiety he inherited from hair removal.

“Dion calls himself Coach Prime and he pretends to be this overreaching person, but he doesn’t, and he is given the same radical materialism, the same anxiety to his son,” says Jason.
