Sen. Michael Bennett (D-CO) predicted on Thursday that “MSNBC reports,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegses will become the next cabinet member ousted by President Donald Trump.
“I think there's more to it,” Bennett said, “I think it's an extraordinary moment that even Donald Trump can't maintain a national security adviser who has the wisdom to share a signal chain with Jeffrey Goldberg. We'll start with classification information about the shared combat plans and that signal chain.”
He said, “As a member of the Intelligence Election Committee, we rarely saw anything that Pete Hegses was categorized as something that he put out on that signal chain. And I think these drumbeats are growing, growing and trying to grow, and President Trump says the Waltz will not be left by his administration.
