Tyrese Haliburton’s dad staying away from Pacers games after Giannis flap

John, the father of Tyrese Haliburton, will not be in the Pacers game for a “foreseeable future” after facing off against Bucks star Giannis Anteto Compo following Game 5 in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

As John met with the Pacers front office, the decision was made by the Pacers spokesman, an organization that would not attend any future home or road games. He spoke to ESPN's Shamz Charania.

The incident made headlines after a game where Antetocomo described John's actions as “very rude” when he shook a towel and cried out, “This is what we do.”

In an interview with Milwaukee News Station TMJ4 on Wednesday, John admitted that he was “wrong” to proceed to court.

However, he insisted that he never screamed in the face of Antetocomo.
