Let’s ‘Make Europe Great Again’

WASHINGTON – George Simion, the leading candidate for the upcoming Romanian presidential election, told Breitbart News that if he wins, and if an equally conservative anti-globalist candidate wins the Polish election in May, President Donald Trump will have two major new allies in the European Union.

Romania selected strong, conservative anti-globalist Karin Georjuk at the end of last year, but the election was called off and invalidated after being accused of being a professional Russian. The Romanians are scheduled for a new election in May, and Simion has promised that Georgek would have promised a position in government if he wins – has emerged as a front-facing candidate. The protest exploded across Romania, with people exploding against interfering in the election from Brussels, a globalist plotter who canceled Georgek's victory.

Simion was in Washington in mid-April and sat for an exclusive interview with Breitbart News during his visit to meet up with top conservatives close to President Trump.

Simion asked Breitbart News about the rage that the international community has seen since Georgek's victory was invalidated by globalists.

“You will strike the streets and protest to make you suffer. The men who have done the coup, the founders, the men of the deep states have combined with our public government,” Simeon told Breitbart News. “They were losing a lot of time. They were organizing elections and they lost a lot of time. They abandoned the election because they didn't like Georgek's stance. They said he had a Russian stance. He was calling Washington.

Simion isn't worried that he might be able to do what they did to Georgek. Because it is now the whole world is watching, and Brussels-based globalists and other left and right actors from Romania cannot escape. However, he expects some left-wing shenanigans and is ready to fight it to victory.

“It's way too much because everyone is looking,” Simion said. “We have international observers. We didn't expect this within the European Union. There's too much to override elections. They try some scams. They cast a few votes and try to steal the vote. This is normal for them, as they are liars and thieves.

Simion and several other candidates will face off on Sunday in the first round of the presidential election. The top two voters at the May 4th contest will advance to the initiative election from the final head on May 18th. Recent polls show he's ahead of everybody else in the race in double digits, but he's only in his mid-30s so he's expected to finish on the field on Sunday, but he really closes it within two weeks and gains majority support to become Romania's next president on May 18th.

“The polls have a psychological phenomenon, a silent spiral, but I'm leading a big time,” Simion added when asked about the poll, adding that he is ready for a real battle with the globalist elite on his home stretch.

“They said, 'Okay, we'll dismantle him through MSM. We'll kill him,' Simion said. “This is why people already vote in this election. Some people are already voting overseas, where they are already voting in the US and Canada. Some of them are already voting at the polling station, not via mail, Brussels.”

Romania is one of the 27 member countries of the European Union. Located in Eastern Europe and adjacent to Ukraine, the threat from Russia is very real for Romanians. Romanians have been decades without a leader like Simion. And he came to lead the move last year for Romanians who were deprived of their right to feel their votes had been stolen.

“First of all, it's not about me. It's the fact that I'm continuing this sovereignist movement. The representative of this sovereignty movement was started by Karin Georgek,” Simion told Breitbart News. “I'm his successor. People are upset and want to get the president back. Their president is Georgik and we will take him into power in these elections and all the necessary means. Secondly, of course, this will be the first time in Romania in the last 35 years when we had a patriotic and sovereign president. People want to forget free elections, and freedom.

Simion says that the politics of the movement of working class people reject globalists – what happened in the US, it could be happening in Romania – of course, from people about all these crazy ideas and ideology, how cows are contaminated, from people about killing cows from people, we need to kill us.

“It's common sense that people support their roots, come back and return to normalcy,” Simion said.

Simion said he knows if he wins he is the most likely candidate to have a warm relationship with President Trump and the United States. Simion also said Poland, which is holding the presidential election in May, has a similar opportunity to elect fresh young anti-globalist conservatives. The two essentially run as tickets, making Brussels even more crazy.

“I don't want – I know,” he replied when asked if he wanted to have a close relationship with Trump if he wins. “I am the only person who has a channel for the Trump administration. The Trump administration doesn't want to talk to our public government elected to Brussels. Yes, America is our main focus and our main strategic partner. We are natural partners and we are the same as the Maga movement. Poland. [Jarosław] Kacheski. If we win the election in May, we will be President Trump, Profridom and two presidents who are against Brussels bureaucracy. ”

When Breitbart News spoke to him about Trump's very positive views recently discovered in Greece, Simion said Trump has far more support than globalist agencies like facility media make anyone believe. He mentioned how close he and other conservative leaders are to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The interview took place shortly after Meloni visited the White House.

“I'm sure this is true,” Simion said. “In Romania, President Trump has the biggest recognition rating of his actions in fake polls from 27 states. I think we will start with the Maga movement with Mega. We will make Europe again. I am the co-founder of it in Europe. We will win. We have to do – we are in Giorgia Meloni, Europe.

Simion agreed with Meloni and Trump's comments from Italian leaders' visit to the White House, saying he vowed to make the West great again. He also said he and others in Europe believe that they need to hold back the globalists at the European Union headquarters in Brussels.

“Absolutely, when you define the West, you talk about Italy,” Simion said. “And she managed to make it. She's been doing it in Italy many times, Italian Pro Taguinsta. She managed it in just two years to become a model. Yes, I think we have a European set of pro-Trump leaders who have won the Trump administration directly and reminded Ursula von der Leyen and these whimsical people to Joe Baidin.

Simion added that, given Romania shares its borders with Ukraine, his country has unique credibility among European Union member states in how it deals with Russia and Ukraine. He said Russia is a malignant actor in the region and is unreliable.

“Russia is a huge danger to us, to Poland, to the Baltic Sea,” Simion said. “We have to stop Russia. But what's going on now isn't to stop Russia, just make Russia an important actor again. This war won't go anywhere. Of course, it won't be condemned. You can't ask for a country that gives up on territory. Do this again, as it's like a mo from their part… you need a new security guarantee.”

As for Trump's tariffs, Simion said Trump's speech has been “clear” throughout his career.

“It's clear that tariffs are not targeting European countries,” Simion said. “It was the stupid Emmanuel Macron who tried to put tariffs on US digital products and I'm sure he'll find a solution to economic relations with the US. Of course, tariffs are about China. And that's what we need to do because we were influencing the experts and university professors who had said you could live like this, so we can't get back to our work and only stop growing in Europe and America.

He also said that after elections in Romania and Poland, Trump and the United States hope to have friends with the presidents of two major European countries in a few weeks.

“We hope that from the end of May, America will regain two important partners, both Romania and Poland,” Simion said. “We are committed not only to the ideas of friendship between Romania and the US, but also to the values I know that we stand: speech, democracy, common sense.”
