Would be a great option

There’s a buzz among White House insiders regarding President Trump’s key policy move, particularly about the possibility of homeland security adviser Stephen Miller stepping in to replace Mike Waltz as national security adviser following a recent shake-up in the administration.

At 78, Trump reassigned the 51-year-old Waltz from leading the national security council to the role of UN ambassador. In the meantime, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, age 53, will temporarily fill the national security adviser position.

Those close to the administration suggest that Miller is a strong candidate due to his staunch immigration policies, which align with Trump’s priorities both domestically and internationally.

“He has played a significant role in deportation efforts, and both he and Rubio share a focus on combatting the cartel and dictatorship issues. He’s probably the only one who’s truly followed through on his obligations,” a source shared.

“I think Stephen is exceptional.”

It seems Miller may find himself in some high-profile situations, particularly during Trump’s first 100 days, engaging with reporters on the White House grounds and during briefings.

“He’s a solid choice. He’s not just adept at policy, but also at managing government daily systems. Plus, he collaborates well with Rubio, especially on immigration and countering terrorism threats in the Western Hemisphere,” another insider stated.

However, a third source familiar with the administration hinted that the national security adviser role might not be the best fit for Miller.

“It’s a demanding position, and he might lose what he truly enjoys doing,” the individual remarked.

Miller was not available for comment.

Other individuals being considered for the national security adviser role include Michael Anton, who directs the White House policy planning office. It has also been mentioned that Sebastian Gorka, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and former German Intelligence Director Rick Grenell are in the mix as well.
