The deception continues:
Even with the troubling record of NFL player Adrian Peterson, he experienced a year-long suspension for physically abusing his four-year-old son. His history includes arrests for domestic violence against his wife and an incident where officers were called to escort him from a club at 2 AM. It’s troubling to remember he played for the Vikings just a day after his two-year-old son, whom he had never met, passed away. Yet, there are attempts to paint Peterson as a generous figure.
Initially, Jim Nantz seemed to overlook this serious issue, and then sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson echoed his views. On this Thanksgiving, families might even feel they owe a thanks to Adrian Peterson.
Such falsehoods continue to circulate, heard routinely on television, radio, and through partnerships with sports betting. Infomercials hint at miraculous solutions, without any corrections, apologies, or accountability in sight.
