Undocumented immigrants accused in violent killing during home break-in in California

Authorities have disclosed that three individuals recently apprehended by the Los Angeles Police Department in relation to a home invasion, murder, and robbery in Woodland Hills are undocumented immigrants from Eastern Europe.

The suspects are Paata Kochashvili, 38, Zaza Otarashvili, 46, and Beshki Kutshishvili, 52, all citizens of Georgia, facing murder charges. Their bail is currently set at $2 million.

Sources indicate that all three men were in the United States illegally, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement has taken them into custody.

The LAPD responded to a call regarding the incident before 1 a.m. on April 26, where they found Aleksandre Modebadze, 47, who had sustained head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by fire and emergency services.

According to detectives, the suspects entered Modebadze’s residence and fatally assaulted him. Following the incident, the FBI assisted in locating and apprehending the suspects.

One suspect was captured near Sepulveda and Burbank Boulevard in Van Nuys, while two others were arrested in Glendale.

ICE has not yet issued a response regarding the situation.
