Miami, Fla. – Every trip to a Formula 1 race brings something fresh to the table.
This year’s Miami Grand Prix is no different.
During the driver parade, rather than the usual flatbed truck, 20 drivers showcased their skills around the Miami International Autodrome in exciting team-branded LEGO “Big Build Cars,” replacing the standard parade vehicles seen in previous years.
A press release from F1 details:
Each car was designed by a dedicated team of 26 designers, engineers, and LEGO builders, taking over 22,000 hours at the LEGO Group’s Kradono factory in the Czech Republic. Nearly to scale with a Formula 1 car, each large build consists of about 400,000 LEGO bricks, weighs 1,000 kg, and can reach speeds of 20 km/h.
The release also mentions that the “Big Build Cars” are inspired by the LEGO F1 Speed Champions series that debuted last year.
These remarkable cars created even more memorable moments during the parade.
Once again, attending the race offers unique experiences you’ve never encountered before.
