Recall of Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans sold in 23 states

Vietti Food Group, based in Nashville, has announced a recall of its Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans due to undeclared allergens—specifically, the presence of soybeans. This recall affects around 4,515 cases of 15-ounce cans, which, as the FDA mentioned, poses a serious risk for individuals with soy allergies, potentially leading to severe allergic reactions.

The affected products have been distributed across 23 states, including Arizona, Colorado, and Florida among others. Thankfully, no illnesses or adverse effects have been reported as of now.

Consumers can identify the recalled items by checking for the highest date used on February 17, 2028, printed on the bottom of each can. Those who purchased these products are encouraged to return them for a full refund.

Interestingly, these baked beans are inspired by the popular TV show “Yellowstone,” which concluded last December after five successful seasons. The show’s appeal continues to resonate, influencing even food products. I mean, who knew a series about the American West could lead to such unexpected connections?
