Former NFL reporter Michele Tafoya has made some sharp comments about Kamala Harris, suggesting that the former vice president “completely cheated” during her recent low-key appearance at the Met Gala.
Harris has reentered the public eye following her defeat to President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, and it seems she’s trying to regain her footing in the political landscape. This comes amid reports of speculation regarding her potential candidacy in 2028, especially after she made headlines at a Democratic National Committee fundraising dinner on Tuesday.
Tafoya expressed her views during an appearance on Outkick’s podcast, noting that the public seems to gravitate towards more genuine politicians. She said, “Look, she really has nothing to say,” implying that many are searching for authenticity among political figures. “I think as time goes on, people are realizing they’re leaning towards real people, even if what they say isn’t popular,” she added.
In her remarks, she drew a comparison to Donald Trump, stating that people were initially attracted to him, and that attraction has lingered. As for Harris, Tafoya was less optimistic, arguing that the books detailing the Biden administration’s actions don’t portray her in a trustworthy light.
Additionally, names like Gavin Newsom and JB Pritzker have emerged as frontrunners for the 2028 election on the Democratic side.
Harris is also being mentioned as a potential candidate for the governor’s race in California in 2026, further hinting at her ongoing ambitions in politics.
