Jasmine Crockett faces accusations of misusing her authority at the airport after she bypassed passengers in wheelchairs.

Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, recently faced backlash on social media for allegedly cutting in front of two wheelchair-bound passengers at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport during a flight over the weekend.

House GOP Conference Chair Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) shared an image showing Crockett ahead of a passenger in a wheelchair, drawing attention to the support she received from taxpayer-funded police escorts.

McClain commented, “Jasmine Crockett lined up with taxpayer-funded police escorts — even keeping people with disabilities waiting,” suggesting that the Texas politician prioritized her position over others’ needs.

Earlier this year, Crockett stirred controversy when she referred to Texas Governor Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels” and was traveling back to Washington, D.C., after her time in Atlanta.

Crockett’s office has not yet provided a response regarding the incident.

The Transportation Department mandates that airlines give disabled passengers priority boarding, which allows them to enter before other passengers.

Conservative critics quickly seized upon the incident, accusing Crockett of leveraging her political status to skip ahead in line.

Phil Holloway, a Town Hall columnist, expressed his frustration on social media, questioning why Crockett required police escorts and cut in line. Another user, Janine Thomas, called the situation “embarrassing.”

Fred Jones drew parallels to a past incident involving Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, suggesting a recurring theme of entitlement among certain lawmakers.

Crockett has established herself as a vocal critic of former President Trump, who recently insulted her during an NBC interview, labeling her a “low IQ person.” In response, Crockett challenged Trump on social media, emphasizing her commitment to speaking truth and accountability.

Crockett has also been known for taking a strong stance against House Republicans and has participated in rallies such as the “Tesla Takedown” movement, prompting warnings from U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondy.

As discussions continue, Crockett is being considered a candidate to replace Rep. Jerry Connolly (D-Va.) on the influential House Oversight Committee, following Connolly’s recent resignation due to health issues. Meanwhile, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is also vying for the position, although she requires an exemption due to her previous committee role.
