Bebe Rexha shares her experience of losing a pregnancy and responds to Azealia Banks’ body shaming.

Bebe Rexha is responding strongly after Azealia Banks criticized her appearance at the Met Gala.

Banks, who didn’t attend the event in New York City, made a comment suggesting that Rexha’s look was influenced by hormonal birth control. “It’s giving her an Implanon or a NuvaRing that she needs to remove, or a depot shot that she needs to stop,” Banks remarked in a post.

In reaction, Rexha, wearing a striking black gown by Christian Siriano, expressed her frustration about weight comments in a follow-up post. “I’m so tired of people commenting on my weight,” she said.

Rexha revealed her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and infertility. “I’m pregnant, but it didn’t work out, and I’ve been masking the pain. I didn’t owe anyone the truth, but now I think twice before judging anyone’s body,” she admitted.

Though she didn’t specify when she experienced her pregnancy loss or her desire for a child, she addressed Banks directly in another post: “You might want to consider some kind of treatment,” she advised. “Something that will help with the deep-seated sadness you seem to project. Healing is beneficial for everyone. Give it a try.”

Banks has yet to respond to Rexha’s comments on social media. Page Six also reached out to her for a statement, but there’s been no reply.

Meanwhile, Rexha’s fans have been rallying around her with messages of support, expressing sympathy over her loss. Comments included sentiments like, “Sorry for your loss,” and “You’re beautiful inside and out. Filter what you see for your mental health!”

Rexha recently ended her relationship with Keyan Safyari after a dispute over alleged body-shaming texts. She has now been linked romantically to Greek architect Simos Liakos. On Tuesday, Rexha showcased her dazzling Met Gala outfit on social media, sharing a glimpse of her pre-event beauty routine and captioning it, “My first Met Gala” along with a shooting star and heart emoji.
