Tattooed man with green and blonde hair randomly attacks 73-year-old woman in NYC train station, say police.

An unusual incident occurred last week when a woman with green and blonde hair attacked a 73-year-old on a subway train in midtown. According to police, the elderly woman was riding a southbound train nearing the 5th Avenue-53rd Street station around 4:30 PM when a stranger with bright hair suddenly sat beside her and began yelling.

As the victim attempted to exit the train, the assailant continued her aggressive behavior, hitting the elderly woman repeatedly in the face on the platform, officers reported.

After the attack, the assailant fled towards Queens on an E-Train in the opposite direction. Fortunately, the victim received care from EMS at the scene for her minor injuries.

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the suspect, who has distinctive two-tone hair, tattoos on her legs and left arm, and was wearing a short-sleeved dark green dress while carrying a black backpack as she entered the metro station.

Authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or the Spanish hotline at 1-888-57-Pista (74782).
