Robot video from China becomes widely popular

Video footage has surfaced from a private factory in China, showing what appears to be a robot “rampaging.” The security camera captures a robot resembling the Unitree H1, first hanging quietly from a crane-like device.

Nearby, two men are engaged in conversation. Suddenly, the robot begins to move erratically, with limbs flailing, as one of the men tries to hold it back. During this chaotic episode, a computer monitor is knocked over along with other items.

As the scene unfolds, one man eventually grabs a nearby crane, attempting to control the unruly robot. The incident has caused quite a stir online, amassing 12 million views on X, where it’s being referred to as the “first robot rebellion in human history.”

Yet, official information on what triggered the robot’s behavior remains elusive, leaving many questions unanswered.
