The Dunkin’ “Donut” star-studded Super Bowl commercial wasn’t the only ad that Jordon Hudson, girlfriend of Bill Belichick, sought to get involved in.
Former ESPN personality Pablo Torre revealed on Friday that the 24-year-old Hudson disrupted a shoot for an Underdog Fantasy commercial, where Belichick’s podcast is featured. During this incident, she even filmed a version of the ad in a bikini while at Belichick’s pool.
“One notable incident was witnessed by many, including freelance crew members hired for high-budget commercial shoots,” Torre explained. This incident was distinct from the Dunkin’ ad that aired earlier this year.
Sources suggested that what transpired on set that day was highly unusual. Hudson reportedly arrived last summer and made a pitch for an unspecified role in the seven-figure commercial.
Interviews with eleven individuals who interacted with Hudson revealed that she appeared on set in a yellow polka dot bikini and a sun hat.
Torre noted that, interestingly, Bill Belichick maintained his usual stoic demeanor throughout the disruption. While this was going on, Hudson frequently referred to him as a star, and he seemed to be somewhat unfazed.
Torre claimed that Hudson’s attempts ultimately fell flat. The crew was left scrambling to understand her actions as the premise of her impromptu ad involved her lounging by the pool to garner Belichick’s attention.
The actual commercial shoot had already been completed, leading to confusion among the crew regarding Hudson’s unexpected participation.
Although the commercial aired back in September 2024, it did not feature Hudson.
These details emerged just a month after Torre first reported that Hudson leveraged her influence to insert herself into the Dunkin’ ad, which prominently featured Belichick and actor Ben Affleck.
Torre’s findings included a timeline of events and notable anecdotes detailing Hudson’s behavior to take control of the situation.
According to two sources linked to UNC, Hudson has now been barred from entering the UNC Football Field or its facilities.
This statement, however, was countered by Carolina Athletics, which clarified that while Hudson is not an employee, she remains welcome in their football facilities. Instead, she will continue to assist with Belichick’s personal brand, excluding any responsibilities tied to Carolina football.
Torre reported that Belichick’s family is concerned about Hudson, referencing findings from a previous interview.
He added that the University of North Carolina might reassess or clarify its stance on Hudson’s involvement following the airing of Torre’s episode. Multiple requests for comments were made but have gone unanswered.
Recently, Hudson was seen on the field with Belichick during a UNC practice, which garnered significant attention, especially after a viral moment during Belichick’s “CBS Sunday Morning” interview, where Hudson interjected when questions arose about how they met.
The relationship and the ensuing media scrutiny have been a topic of interest for both the couple and the university.
