Reports have emerged indicating that Brian Kohberger, the individual accused in the Idaho murders, took a selfie while dressed in a black robe just a few days before his arrest. This selfie, obtained by NBC’s “Dateline,” was captured on December 28, 2022. Kohberger faces serious charges, including first-degree murder, linked to the deaths of four University of Idaho students: Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; and Ethan Chapin.
Just two days after the selfie, on December 30, Kohberger was arrested and subsequently transported back to Idaho, where he currently stands trial for these charges. Interestingly, “Dateline” has noted that Kohberger was found to have a recorded history of extensive searches on his phone. These searches included numerous images of female students from both Washington State University and the University of Idaho, with some images depicting women in swimsuits.
Additionally, there’s been scrutiny regarding the social media accounts related to these photos, revealing that several individuals who posted them were friends or acquaintances of the victims, raising further questions.
