Gutfeld Criticizes Democrats Over Immigration Issues
On Friday’s episode of Fox News, Greg Gutfeld criticized Democrats, referring to their actions as a significant “tantrum.” He claimed that they have swapped “law and order” for what he termed “performance art.”
The incident centers on Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who was reportedly arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as they attempted to enter a detention facility in New Jersey. While discussing this chaotic situation, Gutfeld didn’t hold back, criticizing Democrats for what he labeled their self-indulgent performance.
“It seems like there was a rough day for the right side. They faced pressure and had to make a show of force. It’s like they’re living in the 1960s, and they don’t seem to be stopped. Think about all the antics the Democrats are up to now: songs, protests, flights to El Salvador, and ICE operations,” he remarked.
He went on to say, “They’ve replaced lawful governance with this performance nonsense. But, as with all such acts, no one really believes it. It comes off as selfish and hollow. [Democrat Maryland Senator Chris] Van Hollen is off to El Salvador,” Gutfeld added.
In another related incident, in March, illegal immigrant Kilmer Armand Abrero Garcia was deported to a large prison in El Salvador under the Trump administration. Although a judge had ordered the U.S. to return Garcia, the administration appealed the decision to the Supreme Court.
“He wants people to forget about it, but I won’t. Someone should really look out for Van Hollen. What a waste of time by people who consider themselves morally superior,” Gutfeld expressed. “How many weeks of our lives have these self-righteous folks wasted?”
By April 10, the court mandated that the administration work to secure Abrero Garcia’s return. While some Democrats publicly supported this move, Van Hollen utilized taxpayer funds for his trip to El Salvador to defend the process surrounding illegal immigration.
“This all points back to guilty white liberals who seem to think no one should be held accountable for their actions,” Gutfeld stated. “It’s like they operate on a childlike understanding, expecting that they can act without adhering to societal norms. That’s why they advocate for rights of affluent white women, unsavory men, and gang members.”
He added, “Americans are generally patient people, but even they have their limits. They’ve chosen a different leadership approach. It’s time for adults to take charge. What we’re seeing is childish behavior, and they expect our respect for that—it’s not happening.”
After Van Hollen’s visit, four other Democrats—Maxwell Frost from Florida, Robert Garcia from California, Maxine Dexter from Oregon, and Jassamine Ansari from Arizona—traveled to El Salvador in April, advocating for Abrero Garcia’s return.
