Walton Goggins from The White Lotus: ‘Who do I admire the most? My wife, for all we have faced together’

Walton Goggins, 53, originally from Orn, Alabama, relocated to Los Angeles where he launched a car ballet business and pursued acting classes. He’s appeared in various films such as Lincoln, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, and Tomb Raider. Recently, he portrayed both Ghoul and Cooper Howard in the Amazon series Fallout and had a role in the third season of White Lotus on Sky Atlantic. His latest movie, which hasn’t been specifically mentioned, is currently in theaters. Goggins has remarried, has a son, and resides in upstate New York.

Snakes.

What is your earliest memory?
Watching my mother get ready for work when I was around four. She was a single mom, and I thought she was the most beautiful woman.

My wife, for the lessons we’ve shared and the challenges we’ve navigated together.

I often worry about finances. There’s this persistent anxiety about whether I can provide for my family.

One time I made a mistake during a close-up while filming a significant movie.

A collection of sand and dirt in small containers, each representing the journey I’ve taken.

What makes you unhappy?
Poor wine and issues with transportation.

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
My smile; it’s quite large. I lost my two front teeth in fifth grade and had really nice ones. I often wonder how my life might have been different if I still had my original smile.

I have an obsessive-compulsive tendency when it comes to cleaning.

Timothée Chalamet.

If fame allows you to secure a reservation at a desired restaurant, well, I’d lean towards fame.

I claimed I had to work to avoid an interview.

Enjoying cocktails and swimming in the Mediterranean.

My son, Augustus.

What does love feel like?
It’s everything; an obsession, a glorious experience that encompasses all of our emotions.

The very first kiss with my wife.

Absolutely, I genuinely mean it, and I tell that to everyone.

Not being as present in my son’s life as I’d like when I’m working.

A significant traumatic event when I was searching for a reason to keep going.
