Are you looking for a job that lets you snuggle in all day? Well, here’s an interesting position from an online sleeper sofa company, Codol, that’s opening its doors for a “Codolated Intern.” No need to worry about insomnia to apply.
This summer internship, named “Rest and Digest,” lasts eight weeks and is open to anyone over 21 living in the U.S. The pay is quite attractive at $10,000.
Codol’s job listing highlights some straightforward requirements.
The successful candidate will get to enjoy one of the company’s Sleeper Sofas throughout the internship.
Anarun, CEO of Codol, mentioned, “The summer internship season often comes with its own pressures. I thought it was about time someone got paid just to lounge around this summer—no guilt involved.”
The ideal applicant, according to them, might say, “I’m confident I can go viral with my unique viewing suggestions.” Previous experiences like napping or spending time online are nice to have but aren’t required.
Codol will start taking applications on May 13th, with the promise that, by the end of the internship, you may become “the most thoughtful person on the internet.”
Applicants must submit a 30-second Instagram video explaining why they deserve one of America’s most unique internships using the hashtag #coddle_contest.
Submissions will be accepted via Instagram until 11:59 PM on June 3rd. Anarun added, “Whether you’re a student, a recent grad, switching careers, or just a devoted sleeper, we want your authentic perspective.”
