Ceasefire Agreement between India and Pakistan
New Delhi: India and Pakistan have come to an agreement for a ceasefire following four days of striking and counter-striking.

US President Donald Trump stated, “After extensive talks mediated by the US last night, we’re pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both nations for demonstrating common sense and intelligence. Thank you for focusing on this important issue!”
Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented, “We’re glad that the governments of India and Pakistan have reached an agreement for an immediate ceasefire and are set to begin discussions on various matters in neutral locations.”
Muhammad Yunus, interim leader of Bangladesh, expressed, “I commend Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India and Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif of Pakistan for their swift actions in agreeing to the ceasefire and engaging in consultation. Bangladesh will continue to support both neighbors in resolving their differences through diplomatic channels.”
Kaja Kallas, Head of Foreign Policy for the European Union, said, “The announced ceasefire between India and Pakistan marks a significant step toward de-escalation, and every effort must be made to uphold it. The EU is devoted to fostering peace, stability, and counter-terrorism in the region.”
