During this week’s “Fox News Sunday,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) expressed that Iranian Ayatollahs are fearful of President Donald Trump.
Host Shannon Breem mentioned ongoing discussions regarding Iran, highlighting comments made by Witkov to Breitbart about the lack of a nuclear bomb in their position.
Cotton emphasized that President Trump’s stance is clear: Iran should not possess any capacity to enrich uranium, which is a crucial step toward developing nuclear weapons. He asserted that they shouldn’t have centrifuges or the ability to enrich uranium at all. This, he described, is a strong and beneficial agreement.
He contrasted this with the Barack Obama administration’s deal, which he argued allowed Iran to maintain significant nuclear infrastructure, including centrifuges for uranium enrichment. Cotton noted that Trump’s approach to the situation suggests that military action could be seen as the only option available to the U.S.
