Brooklyn Beckham Reflects on Racing Bond with Father

In a recent interview with the Sunday Times, Brooklyn Beckham, 26, opened up about his shared passion for racing with his father, David Beckham. The discussion, which actually took place in March but was published in May, touched on Brooklyn’s experiences during a Formula Evo session at the Miami International Autodrome.

“It’s a bond between me and my dad. My dad had a pretty cool car,” Brooklyn shared, highlighting how influential his father’s interests have been on him. He had the chance to drive the Jaguar I Type 7 in March and was excited about the experience.

These comments come in the wake of speculation regarding family tensions, particularly following Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham’s, notable absence from David’s 50th birthday celebration. While Brooklyn’s siblings shared photos from the event, Brooklyn and Nicola were missing, which seemed to reignite rumors about a rift within the family.

“It’s something that connects me and my dad,” Brooklyn added, reinforcing the importance of their relationship.

Earlier this month, a source claimed there is “tension” between Brooklyn and Nicola and the rest of the family, although they still care deeply for him. The ongoing speculation about a possible feud between Victoria Beckham and Nicola has been present since the couple’s wedding in April 2022, especially since Nicola chose not to wear a dress designed by Victoria.

Despite the tension, both Brooklyn and Nicola have spoken out against the rumors of conflict. Nicola has previously stated, “There is no feud.” This was reiterated during a March 2023 interview where she expressed her frustration over constant negative press regarding their relationship.

The couple confirmed their relationship on social media in early 2020, shortly before announcing their engagement later that year. Brooklyn even shared a romantic story about his proposal in the New York countryside, expressing how much effort he put into creating a memorable moment.
