Edan Alexander, a 21-year-old from New Jersey who served in the Israeli Army, has been released by Hamas. He is thought to be the last remaining American hostage held by Palestinian groups in Gaza, according to a spokesman for Hamas’ military wing.
Alexander was captured during an attack on Israel in October 2023.
