Aaron Rodgers-Pittsburgh country club speculation dismissed as Steelers interest continues

Rumors about Aaron Rodgers joining a chic golf club in suburban Pittsburgh have been debunked.

Rich Walsh from KDKA confirmed that Rodgers, who has been linked with the Steelers, will actually be joining Nevillewood Country Club in Collier Township, Pennsylvania, located just outside of Pittsburgh.

Since the Jets parted ways with him following a difficult 2024 season, questions about Rodgers’ future in the NFL have lingered, prompting a significant overhaul within the franchise.

“The rumors are not correct. I spoke with Wayne Chulazzi, the president of Nevillewood, who clarified that Aaron Rodgers isn’t involved,” Walsh shared on social media over the weekend. He noted, however, that if Rodgers does sign with the Steelers, the club would welcome him. Nevillewood, he added, is indeed a beautiful spot for golf.

In a follow-up post, Walsh mentioned that some within the Steelers organization had suggested the club to Rodgers, yet he is currently not on board.

If the Steelers take to the field in the 2025 season, they are thought to be one of the few remaining options for Rodgers to play.

Should he sign with the Steelers and join the club, he would have full access to all club amenities, including golf courses and practice facilities. His family members, like children living at home, would also be eligible to use the facilities until they reach 23 years of age, albeit with some restrictions.

Various teams have been previously linked with Rodgers, such as the Giants before they signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.

After Derek Carr’s retirement announcement, the Saints have emerged as another potential option for him.
