A new book titled *Original Sin* reveals concerning insights about President Biden’s health. According to the authors, Jake Tapper from CNN and Alex Thompson from Axios, a Biden advisor has suggested that if he were to be re-elected, he might face the use of a wheelchair.
The authors mention that Biden’s doctor warned him about the potential need for a wheelchair should he collapse again. Axios details that Biden’s physical decline in 2023 and 2024 was significant enough that discussions around wheelchair use became necessary, reflecting the White House’s efforts to mask the true state of Biden’s health during a challenging reelection campaign against Donald Trump.
The aide believed that having Biden use a wheelchair during the campaign would be seen as politically unacceptable. The report includes that, according to his physician, if he experienced another serious fall, recovery could lead him to require a wheelchair.
