Tim Tebow has disclosed a staggering list of more than 100,000 IP addresses in the U.S. that have reportedly downloaded or shared child pornographic images in the last month.
The former National Champion and Heisman Trophy winner spoke with retired Navy Seal and CIA operative Shawn Ryan in an episode of Ryan’s podcast on Monday.
The conversation focused largely on Tebow’s ongoing efforts against sex trafficking, particularly his initiative concerning an updated hope law that could enable the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to enhance funding and adaptability in the battle against sex trafficking.
During an emotional segment, the 37-year-old Tebow revealed a document marked with maps of the U.S., dotted with red marks representing over 111,000 individuals who downloaded or shared child pornography within the last 30 days.
“55 to 85 percent are practical offenders, and the average offender has 13 victims throughout their life,” Tebow shared with Ryan.
“Every one of those red dots indicates boys or girls enduring suffering from what is shared, downloaded, or distributed,” he added.
“Under 12. 111,423 unique IP addresses,” Ryan noted.
“Some might think, ‘Oh, they’re just downloading, just sharing it,'” Tebow argued. “But it’s not that simple. You have to download it through peer-to-peer networks. It’s not just happening by chance.”
“How do we confront this issue?” Ryan asked.
“We’re trying various approaches—collaborating with nonprofits, law enforcement, organizing rallies, and engaging in legislative lobbying. We’re working to reinforce our methods in this fight,” Tebow said. “That’s essentially what the updated hope law aims to achieve, while also adapting to the evolving challenges we face daily.”
“It raises awareness, though I hesitate to use the term ‘awareness’ because it’s often met with indifference. I believe it’s crucial we adjust the laws because we genuinely want to help these victims. It’s about balancing actions with the understanding that boys and girls in our own communities are suffering.”
