Olivia Dunn celebrated a significant milestone on Tuesday after being featured on the cover of the 2025 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. The 22-year-old, who previously competed as a gymnast for LSU, shared her excitement on social media, exclaiming, “I awakened the 2025 Sports Illustrated cover model!”
Dunn’s cover, shot in Bermuda, showcased a striking animal print bikini. Alongside her, other notable models included Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, actress Salma Hayek, and entrepreneur Lauren Chan. Dunn also made sure to post the cover on her Instagram story, proudly proclaiming, “I’m a Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl!”
This marks the first time Dunn has graced the cover, having been featured in the magazine for the past two editions. Recently, she participated in a promotional event in New York, making appearances at various locations, including Citi Field during a Mets-Pirates game.
By the way, Dunn is in a relationship with Pirates pitcher Paul Skeens, who pitched against the Mets that night, going six innings while allowing just one run but ultimately losing the game 4-3.
During her time at the event, fellow swimsuit models Kamille Kostecki, Ellie Toman, and Zandra Paul threw out ceremonial first pitches, although Dunn opted out of participating. This year also marked the end of her gymnastics career with LSU, as the team wasn’t able to clinch the national championship as they had hoped.
Reflecting on her time in gymnastics, Dunn shared a montage of photos on social media, reminiscing about her journey from wearing a leotard to becoming a national champion. “Time flies when you’re having fun,” she remarked, capturing her last two decades in the sport. She expressed her gratitude, saying, “Gymnastics filled my heart and will always be a part of me. You shaped who I am today and helped create unforgettable memories and friendships beyond the competition.”
