Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former girlfriend, Cassandra “Cathy” Ventura, testified that she participated in a drug-fueled sexual affair orchestrated by Combs out of fear of his violent tendencies and a desire to please him.
Initially, Ventura agreed to have an escort present during intimate moments, but she later expressed a wish to stop. Her hesitance seemed to trigger Combs’ aggressive side, as she recalled feeling pressured and unsettled.

Combs has pleaded not guilty, with his lawyer claiming that while he engaged in domestic violence, he did not commit the charges brought against him.
Another accuser is slated to testify under a pseudonym, while a third has yet to be located by authorities.
Ventura shared a complex narrative about her relationship with Combs, describing the beginning when she was a 19-year-old model. She mentioned his introduction of sexual themes that blurred the lines of consent.

She recounted instances during these parties when Combs provided drugs, keeping her awake for extended periods while engaging with multiple male escorts in front of him. Describing Combs’ behavior during these violent episodes, Ventura noted a stark change in him. “His demeanor transformed completely,” she stated, relaying her feelings of fear and disillusionment. Ventura also mentioned witnessing firearms at several of Combs’ properties.
Despite her feelings for him and intentions to comply with his desires, Ventura ultimately grappled with feelings of unworthiness. “It was exhausting for me,” she reflected, recalling moments where she felt voiceless and trapped.
Amidst struggles of mood swings from Combs, Ventura maintained that she attended parties partly to be with him. While some experiences brought her joy, they left her feeling empty and diminished.
Earlier in her testimony, Ventura elaborated on the control Combs held over her life, from financial support to creative decisions regarding her music. When questioned about her participation in the sex parties, Ventura regarded it as a “great question,” indicating the complexity of her situation. She is set to return to the stand on Wednesday.
