Representative Jared Moskowitz from Florida, the first Democrat in the Congressional Doge Caucus, recently stated that the group is effectively “dead.” He acknowledged a lack of activity, mentioning that they hadn’t met in months and only held two meetings in five months. “Doge was a complete failure,” he remarked, emphasizing the ineffectiveness of the initiative.
In contrast, Republican co-chair Aaron Bean suggested that the Caucus is merely “just starting out,” arguing that Congress can achieve impactful change with its dedicated members and working groups focused on crucial reforms.
Moskowitz entertained questions about whether the Caucus would have any significant role in ongoing legislative matters, expressing disappointment that promised collaboration had not materialized. Meanwhile, Elon Musk, a pivotal figure behind Doge, opted to reduce his involvement in the project, indicating that he felt it was time to step back now that the Doge initiative was set in motion.
Fox News Digital reached out to both Moskowitz and Bean for additional comments, but did not receive replies by the deadline.
