Testimony in Diddy’s Assault Case
Cathy Ventura took the stand recounting an alleged assault by Sean “Diddy” Combs just before she headed to Drake’s OVO festival in Toronto back in 2013.
While attending the festival with rapper French Montana, Ventura revealed she had styled her hair deliberately to conceal her injuries.
She recalled being in her apartment with two friends when Combs burst in, angrily complaining about their plans. It seems that in the chaos, her friends tried to intervene before Combs allegedly turned on her.
During her testimony, she shared a startling moment: “When he threw me off, I cut his eyebrows instead of the corners of my bed,” she said, pointing out a photo of her injured eyebrow that showed significant damage.
Combs, 55, later accompanied her to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, where the injury was stitched up, leaving her with lasting scars. Ventura mentioned texting him a photo of her wound with the message, “So you remember.” His response was a somewhat ambiguous: “You. I don’t know. When. I pushed too much. And continue to push. sad.”
She also disclosed disturbing messages from Combs regarding their time together, including details about a marathon sex party he referred to as a “successful” freak-off, allegedly suggesting it took place without the club drug ketamine. “You know we need to have a proper FO without k [ketamine]. A successful FO is when we remember,” he texted her in January 2016.
Now married and expecting her third child with a former personal trainer, Ventura explained to the judge that Combs routinely hired male escorts to engage with her while he watched.
The trial continues in New York, where Combs faces serious charges, including assault and sex trafficking, carrying potential life sentences if found guilty. He has pleaded not guilty.
