Chargers’ Schedule Release Gets Digital Twist
Seems like every year, the NFL’s schedule releases are turning into major digital events. The Los Angeles Chargers are among the top teams showcasing their creativity in this space. With a mix of humor and pop culture references, they know how to engage fans. Although, some critics argue that the jokes about rival teams might occasionally cross the line.
Recently, CNN probed this playful approach by speaking with Megan Julian, the Chargers’ digital and social media director. She had a clever comeback, comparing CNN’s scrutiny to cooking a burger on the Fourth of July.
“We’re fortunate to be in a workplace that values humor and social interaction,” Julian commented. “It’s important that not everything feels serious.”
CNN asks Megan Julian, director of digital and social media Chargers, how far is it in the jokes in the schedule release video?
“We’re lucky we work in a place where we value social and joking ability, and not everything has to be serious all the time,” Julian said.

Considering last year’s success, it’s clear the Chargers are ready to raise the bar again…
Do I really need to create a schedule release video with Sims?
